The Ace Hotel PS
A couple weekends ago, while I was dying of influenza, I managed to honor my sweet prize of a stay at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Thanks to the Hitched ladies, of course. And I totally appreciated the suite upgrade from my Ace friends. A weekend at the Ace, in PS or PDX has never disappointed.
Other than popping into the Hitched Event for as long as I could manage, I mainly made great use of the bed as I chugged liquids and meds. Stunning deserty backdrop to be sick in though, yes?

Have you caught any of the Hitched recaps? My memory of the event is a bit foggy at best. What a shame. I'll leave the summary to the experts.

Enjoy Cupcakes + 200 Flavors
This morning I'm talking about Enjoy Cupcakes and their rocking awesome Shasta trailer that serves cupcakes of all kinds. Behind it all, is a woman named Amber, who declared faithfully as a little girl that she wanted to be a baker. She and her husband Justin, now offer almost 200 mouthwatering flavors. She is inspired by local produce, flavors, and wine. Yes, wine!
Among my favorites: The 40 something wine inspired cupcakes and all of the others. Too much?
Make this flavor list part of your Monday reading. Then go visit Amber and tell her I sent you. Then perhaps she will overnight me a box of these cupcakes so I that I may fall in love all over again.
Read on for all 200 flavors...

Enjoy Cupcakes + A Shasta Trailer
This is my revelation for this Monday morning: I would like to move my wedding to the Santa Ynez Valley or Santa Barbara County. Or even better, I will make it my home so that I may enjoy these sweet little morsels from Enjoy Cupcakes on a moments notice. Recently deemed as a seriously intense {Love Affair}.
Enjoy Cupcakes serves treats out of an adorable restored vintage Shasta trailer. They promise twinkling lights, a festive canopy, and a wafting sweet smell that will make your event unique and unforgettable. They can also make and deliver desserts without the trailer. But why on earth would you ever choose that option?

Anthropologie Meets Wedding Gowns
Women everywhere are giddy. Anthropologie has just announced that come Spring 2011 they will be unveiling a collection of wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. Is this at all a valid reason to postpone the wedding? Because, if it is, I will do it. Seriously.

According to InStyle:
Wedding bells are ringing for Anthropologie! The brand’s parent company, Urban Outfitters Inc., announced that it will launch a bridal collection featuring heirloom wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories and gifts designed with Anthropologie’s distinctively ethereal, feminine feel. The still-unnamed bridal concept launches in Spring 2011 as a Web site, through which brides-to-be can schedule local fittings, before branching into stores. “We have found that many brides-to-be are inspired by our aesthetic,” Anthropologie co-president Wendy B. McDevitt said in a statement. “We will unveil a brand that addresses this very special moment in her life with a goal of exceeding her expectations.” Wedding gowns will retail from $750 to $5000, with occasion and bridesmaid dresses starting at $200.
I can only begin to imagine the gorgeousness of these dresses. Swoon times a million.

Mary + Stefan {Real Wedding}
Naturally, my favorite real weddings take place at the Smog Shoppe and Marvimon. Not only do Mary and Stefan score points for their rockin' venue choice (Marvimon, in this case), they get super bonus points for getting married on Halloween and making it a fun, artsy, classy, affair.
This wedding was photographed by none other than Erin Hearts Court and features the talented Meg from La Partie Events as wedding coordinator and florist. Photos brought to you via Once Wed. (Jen at Green Wedding Shoes is also featuring this wedding today!)
Now, let's get on with the awesomeness and start this new year off right!

School House ROCK
Maybe it's the mood that I'm in, but I couldn't get this engagement session I spotted months ago out of my head today. I'm feeling a little nostalgic and a lot sad. But this session reminds me of my little ones at school, which makes me happy. These two kids met in elementary school and reconnected twenty years later! I'd be willing to place a couple bets on some of my kids and whom in our class they will marry...
Kelty of Steep Street describes this session perfectly, as a blend of "Rock n Roll, Vintage Classic, Creepy Model, and Good Old Fashioned Fun."
It's quite possibly, one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time.
